Mark 5:19 Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.

This is another good example ¬†from the scriptures how we should ‘proclaim the gospel to all’. So if we follow Jesus, then that’s what we do just follow, however Jesus really wants us to be disciples and ‘go our own way’ preaching the gospel, and in times of need, receive guidance and comfort from Jesus, and perhaps follow him for a bit until we are strong enough to ‘go out’ again and win people to Jesus Christ.

In times of timidness sweet Jesus give us strength, and give us your love through the Holy Spirit in order for us to win souls to you, and may our love for you be strong now and forever more. Amen.

Mark is a good chapter to study friends as it is the shortest Gospel and leads on to the larger ones like Matthew.
