Luke 7:6 Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof:
Some people on this planet, being important people, are in a position to do this. They can send their friends or their employees to do what they want them to do! The point of this passage from Luke chapter 7 verse 6 is ‘Faith in God’ to accomplish something. The centurion’s servant who was dying being made well and healthy just by the ‘word of Jesus’ saying be healed. When we work alone, like most people, sometimes it can feel like we are getting nowhere, everywhere seems foggy, if only we had the privileged position of having people do things when we ask them to! It’s a rude and harsh awakening for people when they find out they have to do everything themselves, however Jesus loves us friends so much that with a word Jesus will go out for us to ‘bring the lost lamb back’. Then give us the instructions how we can do this ourselves.
