Mercy on Judgement Day.

Mercy on Judgement Day.

I started this post right here without first doing the title, why?

well really there is no magic formula which people can use to find Jesus and salvation and glory! It’s all down to the mercy of God whether we attain heaven. We have to really hope and pray on Judgement Day that Jesus is by our side don’t you agree! So I’ll call this post, ‘Mercy on Judgement Day’.

Luke 1:50 And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.

What is fear

Of course we should really fear, as in frightened, God, as he has the power to do to us what ever he pleases, our life is in his hands, however, fear definition in Luke 1:50 simply means respect. We just need to respect God ALWAYS, from generation to generation, this way mercy will surely be ours although we certainly DO NOT DESERVE IT!

mercy 1

I’m confident enough to say ‘I’ll make it to heaven, no problem’ however when I do just take a moment and think what if I MIGHT not get to heaven! then this inner core of faith which fills me somehow causes me to grasp my hand tighter, holding on to Jesus Christ, and the best thing about it is ‘he doesn’t mind!’.

Are you worried yourselves friends?

How about yourselves friends, do you ever doubt your salvation and forget that we need God’s Mercy to make it, and what if he doesn’t grant us mercy. A sobering thought. We has Christians though, and true Christians at that don’t have to ponder too long about the ‘unthinkable and hell’ happening when our faith somehow, and beautifully so gets us back on that ‘narrow pathway that leads to heaven’, where we just dust ourselves down and look around us to see if there is anyone else we can dust down also.

mercy 3.JPG

The robber next to Jesus was forgave and shown mercy by Jesus, he believed that Jesus was the ‘son of God’ and it’s as simple as that.

What fantastic Mercy.

May the mercy of Jesus Christ live with you now and forever more. Amen.

Jesus orders you to ‘Proclaim the Gospel’

Jesus orders you to ‘Proclaim the Gospel’

Hello Friends, after reading the passage on how Jesus removed the ‘devil’ out of a certain groups of people, and how these demons went into swine which plunged to their deaths, I pondered and thought about how I might write this short blog about Mark 5: 1-21.

Jesus cast out demon 2

It became apparent that the best verse was :-

Mark 5:19 Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.

love-sick teenager

I put myself in the place of that demon possessed man, and yes for sure I would be running after Jesus, and really just following him like some love-sick teenager, who as got the ‘hots’ for their first boyfriend/girlfriend, really doing nothing, being fruitless in life, then Jesus turns around and looks you straight in the eye and says

…’Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.’,

a little bit like a young pup following you everywhere you go and really you need to shoo the pup away to go back…But it’s for the best, Jesus loves you, that’s why he shooed you away, like the mother and father bird frantically calling for the chick/ fledgling to leave and fly the nest and take that first leap of faith!

you are in LOVE with Jesus Christ

So you go home crying! then something amazing happens, Jesus comes to you in your dreams and says, ‘I love you, I will be with you forever!’. You wake up the next day, and you can’t believe it, you are in LOVE with Jesus Christ, and you never want to leave him.

That’s your revelation friends

So proclaiming the gospel of our lord Jesus Christ is really what we Christians live for, don’t you think, don’t you agree friends. Friends, remember one point I would like to make here as well, Jesus says go and tell your ‘friends’ what great things ‘I’ have done for you. So you go and tell ‘your friends’ and you then feel deflated, down in the dumps, upset, not happy. Why? You have just found out that you haven’t got many true friends, they were just acquaintances at best, who only mocked, scorned and ridiculed you like they did Jesus during his ministry. That’s your revelation friends, the fact that you haven’t got many friends, however, if you are very lucky you may have a couple, but for sure you have always, always got one friend, Jesus.

pathway that leads to heaven

Isn’t Jesus fantastic though folks, he shuns you in public, this protects you from the ‘sinners’ out there that may cause you harm, he loves you in your dreams, where you are nice and privately safe, and he answers your prayers and helps you find true friends on this planet, and there are lots of them that follow Jesus on that narrow pathway that leads to heaven.

is my Christian audio website, feel free to listen to some short Christian messages by myself,

and may the love of Jesus cast out your demons in a gentle way like when he brought the lost lamb back to safety across his shoulders. Now and forever more, Amen.

I am not a sinner

I am not a sinner

I am not a sinner!

        Eaton’s Bible Dictionary

The moral character of a man’s actions is determined by the moral state of his heart. The disposition to sin, or the habit of the soul that leads to the sinful act, is itself also sin (Rom. 6:12-17; Gal. 5:17; James 1:14, 15).

Hello friends,

You know, I know and Jesus knows that we are all sinners. But the majority of the world out there are in denial,

I am not a sinner b.JPG

no way are they a sinner, and people like us want our heads examining and staying well away from them. Getting out of that denial attitude is key to finding Jesus or finding ones pot of gold in life whatever that may be. It’s like a lot of these ‘help’ groups around the world, like alcoholics anonymous start off by saying in the group before they start to see ‘hello my name is whatever, I’m an alcoholic’, therefore if they admit they have a problem then they have got something to work on which they can hopefully resolve one day. People who don’t admit in public that they are alcoholics are destined to fail in their bid to become ‘clean’. Likewise, as soon as someone says that they are not a sinner, are going to have problems when it comes to mending their ‘spiritual disease’ caused by their sinful behaviour which they are in denial with.

The above friends can be a little hard to understand for most, basically because there are three or four important steps to grasp, and if one doesn’t see a step clearly then the whole picture or objective becomes clouded. We as Christians know these steps because this is what Jesus teaches us, however for the ‘newcomer’ who wants to find Christ then these beginning days for them need to be crystal clear. So ‘we are all sinners’, this is fundamental to believe, and if the person’s mind is saying no, no, no to this important fact, they are destined to be ‘like the seed sown on the rocky soil’, where their belief will soon perish at the first encounters of persecution. So that person needs to say between themselves and God ONLY! ‘Hello my name is whoever and I’m a SINNER’. What a great prayer for someone to start off with, Amen!

However, another important point to grasp on one’s journey to salvation is, the above is for people who want to go to heaven with Jesus Christ by their side, where this is the only way. Quite sever for most to accept, but once accepted what a beautiful life the Christian will lead. Amen.

God is our sword.

God is our sword.

Hello friends, I wrote this on Friday 20th April 2012,

Not a lot as changed over the last five years, just closer to Jesus of course!

Today’s devotional

God is our sword

Hello friends,

It’s a great comfort to know that God our Father is our sword in times of trouble, in times of attack from enemies who wish us doom. God through Ezekiel chapter thirty-five verse five tells us, who believe in his son Jesus :-

Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:

Ezekiel thirty-five verse seven:-

Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.

Friends, summing up god’s words above, those who slay god’s children will be slayed likewise, and worse. It’s nice to know friends that god is our spiritual ‘armed forces’, and on the last day Armageddon is the battle field, where we’ll be safe at the back, in the rear with the love of Jesus, and Holy Spirit comfort.

god's sword 2

Friends, I believe that we wave palm branches singing hosannas to Jesus as he enters the kingdom to save us from our sins and lead us to heaven. On the other hand god our father waves the sword of his word at our enemies who try and follow us into the land of milk and honey, wishing us illness and plotting our destruction.

God’s sword will cut the weeds down friends, on the Day of Judgement, and our fruit and flowers will be left, reaped and gathered for heaven by Jesus’ angels at his second coming, appearing on the clouds friends, for us to see.

I believe friends that the angels will dig down to our roots on the ‘Day of Judgement’, our soul, where our whole heart, mind and soul will rejoice in heaven. Friends, it won’t concern us because we will be in heaven, the point being the weed’s evil roots and soul will be cast into hell also.

Thank you Jesus for giving us the word of god’s sword to protect us, giving us a clear and safe pathway into heaven.

Thank you sweet Jesus.

Let’s worship a golden calf, not God!

Let’s worship a golden calf, not God!

Let us worship a golden calf, not God!

Hello friends, I was reading Exodus 32, where Moses was gone a while up mount Sinai talking with God, and the people down below getting restless at his absence, and from my point of view Aaron getting anxious that the people may ‘revolt’, so pacifying that possibility asked the people to donate gold in order for the calf of worship to to be cast and placed before an alter.

The verse from that passage that I choose where God spoke to Moses and said :-

Ex 32:10…Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation…(KJV)

So where are we at here friends? Well for us believers in Jesus Christ, we are in a ‘great position’ as to non-believers as we know what is happening giving us the chance to do something about it. We are that people in a way, gee I like material wealth which is similar to idolising riches in our modern day and age, I like money in my pocket, I love it, like when the people danced around the golden calf like it was God. It was Moses that stopped God crushing them, Moses also crushed the golden calf to powder and made them drink it. Moses saved his people from idolising material wealth, just like Jesus has saved us from the wrath of his father God in heaven, by pleading with his father and saying, ‘forgive them father for they know not what they do’

God wants us gone friends. Yes he’s loving. all loving, but we’ve gone back on our word that many times he’s sick of us, he’s had enough of the no hopers out there, he just wants his loving children to bring them home to his beautiful palace. This is where we hold Jesus’ hand, not God our father, where through his mercy, we will surely enter into paradise.

It’s so difficult for the drug addict to ‘break the habit’, and only the strong do so and survive. It’s so easy for us to get closer to God by being strong and choosing Jesus instead of glistening gold and sparkling diamonds.

So friends, what do you say?

Money or Jesus.

Let’s regularly pray to Jesus, let’s regularly stay together.

Just simple prayers throughout the day is enough.

When you are at your busiest, in a room full of noise when our minds are full of whatever we can turn to Jesus and say, ‘well Jesus we’re still here together’. Praise the Lord.

People don’t have to fear Jesus.

People don’t have to fear Jesus.

People don’t have to fear Jesus

Hello friends after reading Mark chapter 4 I decided to concentrate this Christian writing on the final verse which reads

Mark 4:41… And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him…(KJV)

So friends if the disciples feared Jesus, how are the rest of the world going to view him? They are going to have a greater fear of the unknown caused by their lack of faith, their sinful thoughts and behaviours, their lack of understanding, their problem whatever that may be.

They don’t have to fear Jesus though, Jesus is love! The big gun they have to fear is God!

Now Jesus is teaching us here what faith is all about and the preceding verse shows us that the disciples were fearful of the storm because they had NO faith in God! You see friends, God who is Jesus Christ was with the disciples, even in person, some two thousand years ago, and just because he was asleep on a pillow, their lack of faith was like God was not with them, not realising how blessed they really were to have God in the same close proximity of the boat meant they were the luckiest people alive, ever in fact. But that lack of faith they possessed may as well have put Jesus on the other side of the world.

So friends, it’s all about faith, trusting something or someone you cannot see. Just one question at this point, why do we have faith in Jesus? Well we are the lucky ones, because we love him. Isn’t that fantastic for us though friends, we automatically have faith in Jesus because we love him, and lot’s of people from all walks of life can’t love him because for some personal reasons they could never find that miniscule mustard seed of faith to begin with,

No need to fear Jesus 2.JPG

making them envious of us, and making them fearful of Jesus because of lack of faith.

We live such peaceful lives loving Jesus, that sea is always glass still calm when Jesus is close by and any close by rocks just turn into floating jellies which gently rebound us off.

We will never fear Jesus as true love casteth out fear. Amen.

When feeling lonely reach out for Jesus

When feeling lonely reach out for Jesus

Mark 45 But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.(NIV)

Hello friends, this is such a wonderful revelation, that when you are feeling very lonely in life, and we all go through this, we all suffer loneliness from time to time, all that we need to do is pray for Jesus’ love to enter our souls and them fetters of loneliness shackles drops from off our back, neck, legs, arms, everywhere. And the above verse of scripture tells us and hints to us and shows us how this works. Jesus was forced into lonely outskirt areas of the towns he ministered in, in order to flee the enemy. Thinking about it friends, when things aren’t going well in your life, how many times do you find that your friends desert you, they let you down you are on your own. How many times has this happened to you throughout all your life. I know this has happened countless times to you because it has to me. It’s like you are among people, good people, your friends, and yet you think as soon as something goes wrong, they will one by one desert you until there is just you left. Never!

Jesus is always the last one to be with you. He never leaves! The Good Shepherd loves his little lost lamb too much to desert you. And this is how Jesus brings the true friends too your side. So when you are in your lonely place in life like Jesus fleeing persecution in very lonely and desert places where not many people go to, the true followers come to find Jesus from everywhere like the above verse states. Your friends will begin to find you and visit you from all over the world! Praise the Lord!

This isn’t luck that this happens friends, Jesus Christ is a certainty. It’s impossible to be lonely when we have faith that Jesus is the Way to Salvation.

Jesus isn’t nailed to the cross no more, he is free, he is in your heart embracing you because you asked him not to be lonely in prayer! Absolutely awesome.

No more loneliness friends, just leaping for joy for you and me, we are so fulfilled and happy with Jesus in our life don’t you agree?

So as Jesus healed the man with leprosy, he heals our loneliness too, and no matter where we go to, no matter where we are on this globe we are never, never lonely. Jesus is your friend for life, Amen.
